Edge Medical Media is a company focused on the creation of multimedia services, digital media channels and social media platforms for the medical fraternity.
Our focus is on the professional production of multi-camera filming, photography, online live streaming and distribution of surgical procedures as well as our customer’s social media and Internet requirements.
We aim to provide these services to a multitude of client types which include local and International Private Practitioners, Academic Institutions, Private Entities, and Government Health Departments.
Whilst these types of services, along with the social media elements, in the South African healthcare industry are constantly expanding, our offering is unique and not offered by any other entity as a complete package encompassing the full spectrum of multi and social media services and platforms.

OUR SERVICES
Surgical Live Streaming
A growing demand in the industry is for live video streaming to various entities like universities, training colleges, private medical companies and the like. Edge Medical Media is set up to offer streaming services from our own in-house theatre or at any other medical facility to record and stream to social media. Our theatre facilities and media equipment will provide the customer with broadcast quality streaming images live as and when they are required.
Surgical Video Recording
Many Doctors, for a number of varied reasons, require a videographic record of the procedures they perform. This may be for record purposes, for future client interactions, or for the client themselves. Whatever the reason, Edge Medical Media provides a video recording service which can be done in our own in-house theatre or at any other medical facility of the doctor's choosing. We will discuss the requirements for the case and then capture the procedure using multiple cameras and other equipment to provide a superb finished product, based on the agreed requirements
Surgical Photography
A cornerstone of the services we offer are our photographic services which essentially create a high level and detailed photographic record of the procedure being performed. Using state of the art equipment and based on the requirements of the client, we produce a quality portfolio of the procedure. We are able to complete these assigments using our own theatre facilities or the facilities chosen by the client
Surgical Presentations
When the procedure is done and the material produced, in most cases this material will be used in one or other form to promote the work that was done. It may be a training session or a seminar, or a social media requirement Whatever the need, we can produce high quality intra-operative Microsoft PowerPoint or Apple Keynote presentations for Doctors and other entities.
